SNARE FOOD VOL. 3
Snare Food - Vol. 3 by David Parker takes the momentum of the first two volumes and pushes it even further. This doesn’t necessarily mean all of the etudes are just more difficult. One of the main goals was to improve upon the first two volumes in all fronts - including range of difficulty. The beginning of the book includes simpler pieces that should still push the performers’ fundamentals and musicianship without chopping them out.
Towards the end of the book, the book begins to explore some more diverse material. There is some etudes that adopt more of an orchestral style, as well as some that explore “irrational” time signatures.
All of the etudes in this book also include practice chunks at all of the tempos to help the performer dissect them even more!
